The Avalon East senior hockey league has suspended St John’s Caps forward Mike Druken.
Druken was handed a four game suspension for a hit to the head of a Northeast Eagles player. He received two games automatically under HNL suspension rules and the league has added two games as well for a four game suspension. Druken during the game was assessed a five minute major for the incident as well as a game misconduct.
