C-B-N Stars scored four third period goals and Luke Akerman had the hat trick as      C-B-N Stars downed TP Flyers 7-2.

Ryan Petten, Mark Barrett,  David Hibbs and Ryan Williams contributed singles in this win as CBN improve to 3-3-2 on the season.

Ethan Salsman had both TP Flyer goals in the first period. The Flyers fall to 5-4-1 on the season.

C-B-R Renegades upset the Mount Pearl Blades defeating the Blades 6-3 and handing the Blades their firdst loss of the season in regulation time.

S A T U R D A Y

St. John’s Caps scored five third period goals enroute to a 7-4 win over Northeast Eagles in Junior Hockey  play Saturday night.

Kyle Rumsey netted a pair of goals with singles from Kyle McGrath who also had three assists, Dylan MacKenzie, Paul Norman, Alex Noseworthy and George Walsh.  Scoring for the Eagles were Kyle Rumsey, Tyler Anthony, Matthew Stapleton and Joseph Oldford.

Regan Seymour scored twice and Avalon Capitals came away with a 6-1 win over Paradise Warriors on Saturday night. 

Josh Neil, Ryan Fahey, Alexander Saunders and Evan Gallant added the other goals. 

Nathan Withers had the lone Warriors goal as they remain winless

Luke Akerman scored three goals and that helped C-B-N starts defeat Northeast Eagles 5-4 in St. John’s Junior Hockey play Friday night. 

Tyler Dooley and Ryan Williams added singles for the winners.

Tyler Anthony had three goals for the Eagles and Brandy Holwell had the other goal.

Southern Shore Breakers improved to 5-5 on the year and Avalon falls to 4-6 as the Breakers edge the Avalon squad 4-3.

Brendan Houlihan had a pair of markers for the winners and Donovan Warren and Riley Coady added singles.

Grant Lane, Evan Gallant and Jarret Lush scored for Avalon.
