The St. John’s Junior Hockey League handed out its awards for the past season and three players from Mt Pearl Blades claimed awards.
The MVP and top point getter for the past season was Michael Broders from the Mt Pearl Blades. The top defenseman award went to James O’Brien also of the Blades and the top rookie for the past season was Jack Keough of the Blades.
The top goaltender award went to Josh Langmead of North East Eagles and The Most Gentlemanly and effective player award went to Ryan Dawson of C-B-N Stars.
