BREAKERS, EAGLES WIN IN ECSHL PLAY

SOUTHERN SHORE 5–CLARENVILLE 2

Southern Shore Breakers and Northeast Eagles came up with wins in East Coast Senior Hockey League play Saturday night.

The Breakers defeated Clarenville Caribous 5-2.  

Jeremy Nicholas led the Shore with two goals and singles came from Shane Kavanagh, Brandon Pye and Blake Dalton. 

Chad Earle and Jeremy Masters scored for the Caribous.

Shore led 1-nothing after the first and 3-1 heading into the final frame.

NORTHEAST 5–CEEBEE STARS 4

Northeast Eagles get five goals from five different players as they edge the CeeBee Stars 5-4.

Eric Hutchings, Tyler Bennett, John Charles Snow, Brandon Bussey and Eric Walbourne were the Eagles goal scorers. 

Jesse Morris netted two goals for the CeeBee Stars and Brian Greeley and Steven Greeley had singles.

Northeast led 3-1 after the first and had a 5-2 lead heading into the third period.
