BOTH MUN TEAMS 1-1 AT AUS CURLING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Memorials men’s and womens teams lost at the opening draw of the AUS Curling playdowns.

 

The men’s team  of skip Greg Blyde, Daniel Bruce, Ryan McNeil Lambswood and Nathan King lost to defending champions Dalhousie 9-4. Memorial’s men’s curling team has a 1-1 record at the AUS championships, They defeated St F X 13-3 in a game that went eight ends.

The women’s team is skipped by MacKenzie Glynn, Camille Burt, Chantell Newell and Stephanie Nadeau lost 5-2 to Dalhousie. The women’s team also has a 1-1 record with an 8-4 win over St Mary’s.
