ST JOHN’S, NL – The Newfoundland & Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA) are hosting their Grades 7 and 8 Tip-Off tournament at the NLSC Power Plex on Crosbie Road in St. John’s from Friday through Sunday, Dec 10-12. Eight team Boys and Eight Girls teams in each grade level from across the province are competing, for a total of 32 teams in all.
After two days of competition in the double elimination round robin tournament, the top teams of each division are
Boys Grade 7 St. Peter’s with 3 wins and a points differential of 60
Boys Grade 8 St. Peters with 3 wins and a points differential of 47
Girls Grade 7 MacDonald Drive Jr. High with 3 wins and a points differential of 57
Girls Grade 8 St. Peter’s with 3 wins and a points differential of 60
All four championship games will be played concurrently today at 11:30am at the Power Plex.
