The Ice Caps get a goal from Michael McCarron at 14:51 of the third period and that proved to be the winner as the IceCaps double Albany 4-2 Saturday night at Mile One.
After Albany took a 1-nothing lead after 18 seconds of the first period Jeremy Gregoire tied the contest at one all with his marker at 10:13. Chris Terry gave the Ice Caps a 2-1 lead at 15:35 of the opening frame. Max Friberg scored an empty net goal at 18:50 of the third to give the IceCaps the insurance goal.
